I Voted to Take the ball and go home – if every team did this that played against the “bully” team, the “bully” team may win by these forfeits, but they would not have played one game. And most likely, these forfeited games most likely would not be figured in the final score. Some leagues don’t even save scores and gives every player a trophy. This kind of playing is created by the coach. Two or Three games with this happening – the league most likely would step in and do something. I have seen coaches push that winning is everything, no matter how one plays the game, and other coaches tell their team to have fun, and they had fun and still finished on top.

Stay classy, … is good, but kids will be kids and fights will start or we will have kids getting hurt by the other team.

But, what comes to mind is what kind of officiating is going on. But that is yet another topic.

What a sad day for sports everywhere. The coach should be fired and the players thrown off the team. They clearly do not respect the game or the opposing players. If I was the coach of the team that was being brutalized, I would have a word with the referee and tell him that if it doesn’t stop that I would take my team off the field and would more than likely have to follow-up with the decision to do so since I couldn’t see anything changing.

It is up to the officials to control the game- and given the reputation of the teams involved, these activities might have been antiscipated.
